Dear Helen,

From Dr. Sircus' essay:
http://magnesiumforlife.com/product-information/magnesium-chloride-product-analysis/

Most magnesium chloride hexahydrate available today is the manufactured form made with hydrochloric acid, and added to water. In this process magnesium chloride is regenerated from magnesium hydroxide using hydrochloric acid.>

Mg(OH)2(s) + 2 HCl ? MgCl2(aq) + 2 H2O(l)

The magnesium chloride oil Ancient Minerals that IMVA recommends is all natural.

Could you be so kind to clarify what the difference is between Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Chlorate Hexahydrat? Here in Austria they tell me that they are exactly the same; or is there a a difference somewhere? Please answer me

Dear Jaime,

Ionized oral products are good and most likely absorbed better than other oral preparations, but IMVA still recommends transdermal use of magnesium chloride for better absorption into the body and for longer lasting effect.

George,

The amount you are taking should not hurt you as long as you have healthy kidney functioning....the kidneys will excrete any unneeded excess magnesium. However, IMVA prefers the use of transdermal magnesium treatment instead of oral supplementation as it bypasses the digestive tract and the many problems there that can prevent proper absorption of magnesium. Please read our site on magnesiumforlife: http://magnesiumforlife.com/

I have been taking about 1000 mg of Elemental Magnisium and have been feeling more energetic and over functions including bowels have been great. Is this a safe amount to take each day or can this have adverse effects on your body.

Thank you for the most informative and clear explanation, now
I fully understand why the Magnesium Chloride's Properties are needed for our overall wellness.

I was falling down for any reason and had no balance to counter act the falls. After taking Magnesium Chloride Liquid for a few weeks, my equilibrium has improved so greatly that I had no more falls and at 72 you know they can be fatal.

We at IMVA are not very familiar with magnesium succinate either....sorry. But we recommend using magnesium oil transdermally instead of any oral magnesium as the magnesium from oral forms are not absorbed well.
