Comments from Readers
Transdermal Magnesium Therapy:

It is because of Dr. Sircus’s extraordinary efforts that
transdermal magnesium therapy will NOT become yet another
effective alternative therapy suppressed by our medical system.

“The sheer volume of studies cited by Dr. Sircus shows that transdermal therapy is much needed. His book liberates the conclusions of hundreds of scientific studies from relegation to the dusty archives of medical libraries by willful ignorance of modern medicine. Far more than anyone else, Dr. Sircus is the advocate of transdermal magnesium. Knowledge about the benefits of magnesium that is not applied is useless. He understands the importance of transdermal magnesium therapy, and how it works. He is bold enough to share with his readers exactly how they can use it to support their health.”

“Few persons understand the BIG picture like Dr. Sircus. And that is why this book will change your life for the better. A great source of reference both for practitioners and people simply interested in the numerous wonderful properties of magnesium chloride.

I recommend this book to anyone whose
health is less than 100% perfect, or who knows
someone who’s health is less than 100% perfect.

“This type of mineral therapy is so new that the book is not yet in most of the health food stores. It is easy to read and the author builds a powerful case for the need for more magnesium and especially transdermal supplementation. Using the oil has almost completely stopped my heart atrial irregularity problem.”

All I can say is that this book is a whole new concept and most people would never on their own figure out that their health problems could possibly be linked to low magnesium levels. Just take away just this one concept from this book. If you are truly ultra deficient in magnesium, the irony is that you can no longer effectively absorb magnesium from oral supplementation.”

“The Transdermal concept is this: its magnesium oil. Not really oil but a liquid that has been extracted from sea water where the magnesium has been concentrated. Spray magnesium “oil” on the skin and miraculously, it’s absorbed.”

“Dr. Sircus synthesizes a complete picture of what magnesium does for our health. Dr. Sircus exposes the hypocrisy of allopathic medicine in its near-total refusal to recognize the universal capacity of magnesium for healing. Then he goes beyond that showing how ordinary people can USE this information to improve their lives–quickly, effectively, and relatively inexpensively. In fact, his work in recent years is the very reason for the popularity of transdermal magnesium therapy and magnesium oil as healing tools (and largely is the reason a websearch on “magnesium chloride” provides much good health-related information).”

“Dr. Sircus’s book is the ONLY book on transdermal magnesium therapy (using magnesium chloride) and is likely to remain the authoritative work on the subject, especially when the second edition arrives. It would be a different situation if it was easy to get reliable information about magnesium chloride from your doctor, but unfortunately that is not the case. This book educates, enlightens, and informs like no other. Dr. Sircus continues shining a bright light on transdermal magnesium therapy in a way that no one else has, or likely will, largely because few doctors have the courage to go against the ideology and false beliefs ingrained in modern medicine.”

    Hi Mark

Great information and marvellous education on transdermal magnesium. Haven’t slept so well in years since I started using it. When can we expect your new book.

    Keep up the good work.

Hi, thanks for the great information.
How much sodium bicarbonate is recommened per day. I’ve not used sodium bicarbonate because I was told it would neutralize stomach acid and deter digestion.
Is grocery store sodium bicarbonate polluted with heavy metals or is it safe to use? Some are recommending an aluminum free sodium bicarb, claiming store brands are tainted. Do you know if this is true?
Also, can I reuse the water from the foot bath for soaking on the next day or are all the ions used up?

    Thanks very much. Lois

    Hi again Lois,

the amount of sodium bicarbonate used each day depends on your pH. You need to get some testing strips and let your pH be your guide. This is explained on the Sodium Bicarbonate site and in Dr. Sircus’ books on the subject. Arm and Hammer as found in the grocery store is aluminum free. Not sure about other brands on store shelves. You would have to write to the company or contact them online to ask.

Read up on the sodium bicarbonate site for a wealth of information.

    Sincerely,

    Dear Dr. Sircus:

I have just bought and down-loaded your book on Bi-Carbonate of Soda which contains a wealth of information. I had the most remarkable experience recently using the BiCarb diluted in water. I had made up the solution because a section of my gums were irritated so I had it “on hand”.

I have also been suffering with esophagael spasms and a year ago went for magnesium IVs per Dr. Jonathan Wright. The efficacy of the 4 IVs seems to have run out and recently I experienced a spasm after putting a mouthful of chinese food brocolli in my mouth. The spasms were going on for 3 hours and showed no signs of quitting. When these spasms come on you cannot even swallow your own saliva or water. On a hunch I tried to swallow a sip of the BiCarb solution and miraculously it went down, instantly stopped the spasms and opened up the esophagus! So I owe you one great big thanks for putting me onto the BiCarb!

Now for my question: I am almost 82 yrs. old, Irish race with the usual pale skin which saw many sunburns over my lifetime. I have repeated irruptions of basel cell and squamas concers on my face, shoulders and any other skin which was exposed and burnt. I have had success eliminating some of the lesions with BEC-5 and some disasters using dermatologists. With the advanced age more and more lesions are coming out in the weakened skin. Do you handle skin cancer in your book on magnesium? I purchased the MG flakes, gel and oil. Will bathing in the flakes help heal the lesions? Let me know which, if any, of your books give any details on dealing with skin cancer lesions.

Thank you for any information you can give me. Ann Cianflone

Dr. Sircus talks about skin cancer in his books on sodium bicarbonate, iodine and magnesium. While he has not specifically focused on skin cancers, we have evidience that iodine swabbing will remove some skin cancers, and so will sodium bicarb pastes. We have also had reports of skin cancers being removed by application of magnesium oil and sun exposure.

For general information please read Magnesium and Cancer

Also see Iodine and Cancer and Fibrocystic Disease

The information on the soidum bicarbonate site shoule also be helpful to you.

Great news about the laryngeal spasm relief with sodium bicarb!! Thanks for sharing!

    Hello,
Thank you so much for this website. Alot of wonderful information. I just recently purchase 1 gallon of the Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil. I started 3 days ago applying what I thought would be 1000mg. I read that 8 sprays equals 100mg of elemental magnesium. So I’ve been using 10 sprays on 4 different areas of my skin. Today being the 3rd day my legs could not tolerate the burning sensation. I’m pretty tolerant and have done many no so pleasant alternative things but this burning was too much. I had to rinse within 8 minutes to relieve the burning. I really really want to use transdermal magnesium. What can be done to make my skin not so sensitive. I do not have any rashes or skin conditions. I was surprised to experience such burning.

    Thank you
    Debbie Criddle

Perhaps you are using too much too fast. Cut back on the amount of oil used, and even dilute it 50/50 with spring water till your skin becomes accustomed to the magnesium chloride. Many people are initially sensitive but this passes withing a couple of weeks. Use a soothing cream after the magnesium treatment….something with Aloe or coconut oil in it.

    Hi Claudia,
Thank you so much for responding. I’ve been diluting the oil with re-mineralized reverse osmosis water and this is much better. I am taking an ounce and diluting it 50%. Am I still getting the 3300mg of magnesium I would from 1 ounce undiluted?

I am supplementing with Iodine and want to make sure I am getting my levels up.
I also bathe in a few ounces with a full tub of water and ingest 5-10 sprays with water.

Also when will the new book be available? Can’t wait to get.

    Blessings
    Debbie

  • claudia said:

    Hi Debbie,
If you use the entire ounce at once, you would be getting the same amount as if undiluted.

The new Transdermal Magnesium Book should be available within the next two months. Possibly sooner. It is with the publisher right now!! Watch for an announcement.

URGENT : what to do for an Bone Marrow aplasy ? are the injections recommended ? or iodine or sodium bicarbonate ? if so how to have an appointment on the web with dr sircus ? thank you very much ..its for a friend who just sent me a mail

  • Claudia French - IMVA Staff said:

    Dear Veronik,

Dr. Sircus maintains that oral use of sodium bicarbonate will help in most types of cancer. This is along with his entire protocol of iodine, magnesium chloride and other selective supplements.

You can learn about how to get a consultation with Dr. Sircus by writing to luciana@imva.info or see our site on this at:

I am reading Dr. Sircus book at the moment, almost finished! I have a few questions: I buy Nigari flakes, can I make magnesium oil with it? I have heard that one can dilute them 50% in hot water…. I can’t buy magnesium oil in France and to order it through the Internet would be very expensive!

Another question, dr. Sircus talks in his book about using magnesium oil for the wrinkles and hair, how does that work? Does on soak the hair with it before washing it? Or does one use a bit every day? I tried to rub my face with the magnesium oil I made from the flakes (30% Nigari flakes) but it burns quite a lot, that can’t be good? Now I dilute it with some more water but I wish dr. Sircus would have given a few pieces of advice! And the mouth wash, is it undiluted? It made my lips burn, now I have tried to put a few sprays in my water pik, no idea whether I am putting enough!

My husband has a small basel cell carcinoma on the top of his ear, would magnesium oil help? If not, would kep help? I have never found any other kind of iodine here in Europe although I travel to four countries and have looked for it. Again, ordering form the Internet becomes rather expensive because of the very high postage costs in Europe! I haven’t read the bicarbonate book yet so I hadn’t come across the bicarbonate paste for carcinomas before!

  • Claudia French - IMVA Staff said:

    Dear Francisca,

Nigari can be used in place of magnesium oil but we have found the results to be too runny as compared to the oil and a lot goes to waste. If you want to try this, add water to the Nigari flakes just to the point of saturation. And make sure to get only magnesium based nigari flakes as there are different kinds of NIgari.

But the Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil and the Iodine we recommend is available from various distributors around the world. Please check out the source list here:

    http://magnesiumforlife.com/product-information/ancient-minerals-international-distributors/

It is availabe through the UK which might be cheaper for you.

The hair and skin treatments are dependent on your tolerance …if it burns dilute it, leave in on for about 20 minutes and always rinse off….do this 1-2xday.

Basically the same is true for using magnesium as a mouth rinse or in a water pik. Dr. Sircus sprays full strength into his mouth and then swallows it. Others may not be able to use it full strength. Everyone reacts differently.

Try alternating magnesium oil, bicarbonate paste, and iodine on the skin carcinoma multiple times per day. Dr. Simoncini recommends 7% iodine be used alone multiple times per day and this is generally available in Europe I believe, or can be mixed by a compounding pharmacy. We are hopeing to publish more about skin cancers soon.

Bicarbonate paste by itself probably will help but may not remove the carcnoma completely.

Hi Mark, I’m writing from Serbia, I’m 47 years old and I have a huge problem with my hips, I can not walk and the pain, hips were unstable and seemed to creak. I obtained the magnesium chloride, flaked, how best to use it. Little I managed to translate how to use dermal. If we could print out the exact measure of the amount in grams of water. I have a question about oral use, to deprive these flakes can be added

Thank you for your response, I hope to walk without pain.

  • Claudia French - IMVA Staff said:

    Dear Rasevic,
If you can get into a bath, its probably best for you to soak in a bath with 3-4 cups of the flakes added daily.

To make a liquid out of the flakes just add enough water to saturate them completely. Try not to make it too watery.. This can be applied liberally to your skin. or added to water (a few sprays in a glassful) . Not sure how many flakes or grams should be added to a water glass…..you will have to experiment. If no diarrhea occurs the amount should be ok.

You might also benefit by applying a warmed cloth over the magnesium oil applied to the painful areas.

Magnesium alone will not repair a structural or mechanical problem by itself, but will help with the pain.
