Dear Mare,

Dr. Sircus has a protocol for treating lung disease that utilizes magnesium chloride, glutathione, and even sodium bicarbonate. However he would need more information from you in order to determine the proper program for your husband. Please consider a consultation with him.

you could possibly mix the powder with some water for transdermal use (massage) but I don't think it would be the same consistency as magnesium oil and might be too runny.

I live in Venezuela, and I cannot find the oil you mentioned above, but I have got chloride magnesium powdered that I dissolve in water for taken three times a day.

As a hospice and palliative care certified nurse in the US and having worked for 6 years at an inpatient hospice serving approximately 6, generally bedridden patients a day. I can report that some patients get so much better after discontinuing the 10 or 15 drugs that they come into our facitilty on that they quite a bit better and end up living much longer than anticipated. Sometimes the change seen is almost immediate when the drugs are stopped. I have even seen patients revoke hospice because they get so well from leaving the drugs behind.

Dr. Sircus prefers magnesium chloride over the ones in the supplement you are taking. Also, mag oxide is the most poorly absorbed type of magnesium that exists. Often it takes much longer to get system stores up to where they should be if using only oral products. Research showed that it only took a month or two to get magnesium stores up using transdermal sprays, and foot baths compared to it taking up to a year using oral magnesium products.

Bern,
Sorry to hear of your troubles. First of fall, any magnesium gel will provide less magnesium than a pure oil due to the addition of the gelling material. The difference isn't much but might be significant to those with mag wasting disease.

You don't say how much you are using nor how often so I can't advise. Please contact me personally for a consult on your situation if you like.

I have used "Dr. Becker's Bionutrients Magnesium Topical Gel".
Ingredients: Condensed Seawater: water, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, boron, calcium, selenium. Sclerotium Gum (amigel).
Manufactured For: Bioinnovations Rockwall, TX Phone: 888-442-6161

I have magnesium & potassium wasting secondary to sarcoidosis. I've tried oral, sublingual, IV, and topical. Can't maintain levels of either. I have many problems as a result.
Do you have any suggestions? Anything would be most appreciated.
