Very information. Truely appreciate your efforts to educate people. My son is digonised with Muscular dystrophy and responds well to vitamin theraphy. It is a very well known fact that the body is in oxidative stress but yet many doctors say their is no cure.

I was very surprised to see the references to Hospice care assisting in euthanasia. I am equally surprised to recall a similar event with my own mother. She had been in a nursing home and her health had degraded to the point that I was contacted by the local Hospice Care agency. I met with them at the nursing home and her situation was discussed. My mother had been on soft food and liquids and was now not even drinking. It was obvious she would not last much longer without intervention and that is what she wanted. However, the Hospice Care nurse assured me that since she isn’t drinking they would likely give her a supository with acetomenophen to alleviate any pain. That made me stop in my tracks. I had just received my monthly subscription of Life Extension Foundation magazine (around Dec 07) with an article stating that giving a person who is dehydrated a supository with acetomenophen would likely cause death. I had the magazine in my car and offered to show it to them, but they declined.

To all commenting on the information we’re seeing here about Hospice Care. This situation is worse than expected and indeed shocking!

All of this information regarding hospice care is very disturbing and goes back to the time of the Nazis, who put little value in human life.

President/Founder of the Hospice Patients Alliance, Ron Panzer states:
“Like those hauled off to Auschwitz, the vulnerable elderly, severely disabled and chronically ill are being killed in large numbers. These vulnerable citizens suffer and die in their own silent Holocaust, a Holocaust that is invisible to the public, because it is hidden behind the wall of “privacy laws” that protect the killers, but do not protect the patients”

According to the Hospice Patients Alliance: “Research summarized in medical journals suggests that many hundreds and possibly thousands of patients in the U.S. may be euthanized without their consent.”

Involuntary euthanasia is the medical killing of a patient without the patient’s permission and in some cases without the patient’s knowledge. Medical killing of patients is illegal in every state, however prosecutors are reluctant to bring charges when the killing occurs in a hospice setting. If prosecutors do not act for crimes committed in hospice settings, then hospice may become the “killing field” where unwanted chronically ill can be terminated or where criminals may have a license to kill (with no consequences). Some families have reported that their loved one’s medical records were falsified by the hospices.

“Hospice Patients Alliance affirms that all human life is inherently valuable and that the role of hospice nurses, physicians and all other staff is to alleviate suffering and provide comfort for the sick and dying without sanctioning or assisting their suicide. A death with dignity allows for a natural death in its own time, while doing everything possible to assure relief from distressing symptoms.”

I believe that if euthenasia is practiced without the patients unmanipulated consent then it is murder!

Thanks for all the valuable information.
I was shocked to read the comment from a reader whose mother was given morphine and “20 cc of air to stop her heart” by a hospice nurse. I thought euthanasia is illegal! This sounds like strong grounds for a lawsuit.
